Acne is spotless in 2011

ACNE, the Swedish fashion house, has released glimpses of its upcoming men's collection for spring/summer 2011 and it is fair to say that European shoppers are in for a treat. ACNE finally arrived in the UK in June, with the launch of its London 'studio'. The style of the clothing is very Scandinavian and minimalist and I would describe ACNE as an upmarket, nicer version of fellow Swedish chain H&M.

The xx, winners of the 2010 Mercury Prize for Music, attended the opening of the London store and revealed their passion for ACNE's Swedish design.

ACNE will be hoping to emulate the xx's rapid success in the UK, and if these glimpses of the the SS/11 collection are anything to go by, that might well be a realistic goal!
